Xiaomi – The Chinese Dragon of smart phones and also called as Apple of China is back with a bang with absolutely stunning smart phone Mi MIX 2 which was unveiled on 11th September 2017 at an event in Beijing, China just a day ahead of the official unveiling of Apple’s next series of iPhones today i.e. September 12.
This is the second-generation of its previously acclaimed version the Mi Mix smart phone.
Mi Mix 2 sports a true bezel-less 5.9-inch full HD display (1080 x 2160 pixels) having 18:9 aspect ratios and a pixel density of 403ppi.The phone will come in 2 variants – standard and special edition. The special edition will have a complete ceramic body with 8GB of RAM. This phone makes use of Qualcomm MSM-8998 Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.4GHz combined with 6GB RAM and 8GB for Special Edition phones. The camera system is equipped with Sony IMX-386 sensor, Optical image (4 axis) stabilization and an f/2.0 aperture size. Rear camera is a 12-megapixel shooter and a 5-megapixel front cam with facial recognition feature.
For storage, the handset has 3 variants 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB but Xiaomi has done away with not giving scope of additional expandable memory card slot which is a bit of turn off for such a phone.. The smart phone sports Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port for data and charging.
The regular and special edition Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, both the phones will have a 3400mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi 2 will be available in three variants as per RAM storage capacity which include –
6GB RAM/64GB storage at Rs 32,000;
6GB RAM/128GB storage at Rs 35,000 approximately; and
6GB RAM/256GB storage at Rs 39,000 approximately.
The Special Edition of Mi Mix 2 will be priced at approximately Rs.46,000 as this one has a full ceramic body and 8GB RAM/128GB storage.
