Ways to be Happy!

3 things that can turn any of your day into a happy day. A day when you don’t worry about anything and with the feeling of being loved you sleep in peace. There’s just a few easy-to-do acts and trust me you day will get better.

  1. Smile: “Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.” was said by Thich Nhat Hanh. Smile more often and at everyone. Because last time I checked it does not hurt anyone to smile at people. Greet fellow people with a gentle smile on your face. Practice smiling to feel the joy of being satisfied with everything around you. And you won’t even notice how soon it will turn real. A smile also makes you look pretty.
  2. Count your blessings: Researchers have proven that expressing gratitude increases our happiness status. Count the blessings, all the factors which contribute towards your cheerful life. Thank your friends, mentors, teachers,parents, siblings for being so fortunate as to have them in your life. Write a thank-you note, an appreciation letter, a poem dedicated to them. Or just make someone feel special. Making loved ones happy will in turn make you happy. 
  3. Forgive: Forgive others and most importantly forgive yourself. Don’t find reasons to be sad or depressed. People first fight for attention and then whine over lack of it. It is your own choice to do as you please. Why do you let someone else determine your happiness? And even if you are genuinely hurt, forgive the person. See, only the people who mean most to you have the authority to hurt you. But do you think they’ll deliberately hurt you? Clearly, no. Talk about it instead of sulking away your time. Understanding their POV will make you realize that it wasn’t worth getting mad. 

Try these 3 acts of achieving happiness. And you will be living an optimistic life before you know it.
