The South Koran mobile manufacturing giant, Samsung has declared a marginal price cut for flagship devices like Galaxy S8 and S8+ by up to Rs 4,000 before the Indian festival season starts within few days. This is mainly targeted for Navratri festive offer.
The 128 GB variant of the Galaxy S8+ has been discounted by Rs 1,000 with a cash back offer of Rs 4,000 especially with those having a HDFC card. This simply means that purchase the device through HDFC Bank card and the buyer shall get an additional cash back of Rs 4,000 into his account.
This move is also strategically boost the sales of S8 and S8+ AS Samsung is ready to enter with it new Note 8 this month. Estimated 2.5 lakh people in India are ready to buy the newly-launched Rs 67,900 Samsung Galaxy Note8.
Over a lakh people have also registered to buy Galaxy Note 8 on Samsung India website.
Owing to huge response to Note 8 , as it saw 1.5 lakh registrations alone on Amazon, with 72,000 registering on the first day of itself this move to give discounts will maintain the sales of S8 and S8+ too.
Amazon has opened the pre orders for Note 8 on Monday and the online Authorised partner will start the deliveries of Note 8 by September 21st.
It is to be noted that still Samsung is the top brand of Mobile manufacturer in India with 43% market share. Other share is divided into Lenovo, Mi, Oppo & Vivo.
The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, Note 8 all the 3 phones sport “Infinity Display” with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and with a 6.3-inch screen is Super AMOLED screen having resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Note 8 will be Samsung’s first flagship phone exhibiting dual cameras at the rear with portrait mode and dual optical image stabilisation (OIS).
