Meizu M6 smart phone: Premium look within budget price

Chinese smart phone maker; Meizu released a new pocket friendly handset – the Meizu M6 in China. Company had tasted success with Meizu M5 being a hit last year.

Not many yet the company has made some changes in M6. So guys let us take a quick look at its specifications:

Design and Display:

The Meizu M6 is a phone which looks as if sporting a metal body however in actual it is simply a polycarbonate body. This high quality finish is all achieved thanks to a new process called as Non-Conducive Vacuum Metallization (NCVM) technology. The company logo is laser-engraved at the  back. Speaking about front, there is a capsule shaped fingerprint sensor  and  features a 5.2-inch HD display i.e 720p.

Hardware:

This M6 handset comes with the heart i.e. an octa-core processor running at 1.5GHz. The make of processor is  not specified in technical spec sheet. This processor is paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of built-in storage. An additional card slot to expand the storage space upto 128GB is also made available.

Camera:

Talking about imaging capability optics, the M6 sports a rear camera which is 13MP with RGBW color sensor. At front, an 8MP f/2.0 camera is present. The main factor here in this M6 is that Meizu in combination with ArcSoft has  worked on software related calculations for better image optimization, noise reduction and HDR photography.

OS: The M6 runs on Android Nougat platform with UI of Meizu which is  Flyme 6.

Battery:  Meizu has packed a 3,070mAh battery.

The Meizu M6 will be available in colour options; Black, Blue, Silver, and Gold.

The company is selling the 2GB RAM/16GB ROM model is priced at ¥699 which converts to approx. Rs. 7,000 whereas the  3GB RAM/32GB ROM version is sold for ¥899 i.e. approximately Rs. 8,800.

Finally, looking at M5 and M6 in terms of technicalities, it can be said that there a very subtle difference between the both to consider it as an upgrade over M5.
