He probably snoozes the alarm five times before he can even flutter open his eyes properly and curses the world as he sets foot on the floor. No, don’t do that to your employee. Let him wake up to an enthusiastic zeal that makes him look forward to coming to office. It’s only with happy people that you can get an output that would make you happy. Always make sure your employees love what they are doing. It’s they who make up your company/institution.They matter. They matter enough to deserve an excellent working atmosphere that brings out their potential with ease.
1) GIVE THEM TIME
Your new employees, no matter of what mold they are, are bound to come around if you give them some time for themselves. Let them explore their workplace, colleagues, and scope of work at their own pace. Once they settle in, they will not feel at ease and work as an ingredient of the mission.
2) POLISH THEIR POTENTIALS
Realize every minute thing that they some employee is good at. Know what to dispatch to whom for quick and successful completion. Groom their potentials by scheduling for them to do what they are well-versed at. This gets the work done efficiently and sharpens their talents as well.
Everybody needs a push to get pass their tiredness, temptations, breakdowns, and distractions. Once you stop their potentials from streaming off elsewhere and channelize them in the right direction. Your words need to work wonders on them when they are on the verge of giving up. Help them see themselves for how much aptitude they carry. Help them get over their insecurities. Believe in them when they don’t believe themselves. Be a selfless motivator.
4) CELEBRATE ACHIEVEMENTS
Acknowledge and appreciate every small accomplishment of your employees. Give them their fruits of labor in bounties. Make them experience the taste of victory and crave for more. Be generous to celebrate every progress they make individually or as teams. Feeling recognized and appreciated thrusts a person to do everything he can to taste success all over again. Remember every success, irrespective of its magnitude, is worthy of claps and thumbs-ups.
5) NEVER TAKE SIDES
People who are in constant interaction with each other in a given atmosphere often clash, misunderstand, fall and learn as they rise again. Having nothing to do with their affairs is the best. Refuse to involve or take sides in their personal grievances against each other.
6) CARRY ENERGETIC VIBES
Spread cheer and energy to those surrounding you. Let your happiness be infectious. Give them hope; rejuvenate their tired souls with your kind gestures. Let them look forward to interactions with you.
